There is no better way to start the process than a professional design.

Who we are

Building Expert

Specialises in residential alterations, heritage conservation, commercial designs, and medical facilities.  Mark Wilson is a registered architect in multiple Australian states and a former examiner on the NSW Architects Registration Board, he possesses a comprehensive understanding of local regulations and design guidelines. Mark is committed to building strong client relationships, combined with a meticulous approach to all stages of the design process, ensuring the delivery of exceptional results across a diverse range of projects, from feasibility studies to contract administration.

We carefully listen to our Clients key considerations to create an initial Design Brief, which will be developed throughout the various stages of the project. After our analysis of the site, we will produce initial sketches, informing you of the framework for the design and meet with you to gain your valuable feedback. The concept design will include initial plans and 3D models to show form, massing and scale. We also liaise with Specialist Consultants and Builders to establish the required statutory approval requirements and an initial Construction Cost Estimate.

We will develop the initial feasibility design further, engaging with Specialist Consultants, such as Town Planners, Engineers, Heritage, Ecologists, Arborists and Bush Fire Consultants to produce the architectural documentation required for the required Statutory Approval submissions. Further collaboration with our Clients is undertaken to explain and develop the scheme and keep track of the project’s budget.

Using Mark’s contacts in the industry, we can assist you to shortlist Builder’s that are suitable and have the experience to construct your design. We will then assist you to Tender the Construction Documentation to selected Builders, answer their queries, review their quotations, and select the preferred Building Contract.

We will work with you to analyse all of the preliminary information associated with the site and assist you to evaluate whether the initial project brief could be successful from both a planning and budget perspective.

We can complete a comprehensive analysis of our Clients’ current or potential site(s) and will prepare appropriate strategies for proposed development. Key considerations such as staging, risks, planning constraints, costing and statutory approval requirements are explored.

At MWA we use the latest BIM 3D software, which assist us to produce realistic 3D walkthroughs and perspectives of our designs. This is a valuable tool, which enables us to show a virtual Built Form of the project prior to Construction on site.
