Mark Wilson
With over 20 years of local architectural experience, working for a number of architectural practices in England and Australia, Mark has developed a strong knowledge of Local Government and Council design guidelines, combined with an ability to build strong client relationships. Mark has expansive experience in all stages of the design process; from feasibility and design development to contract administration stages.
Mark is the Director and Founder of Mark Wilson Architects and is currently a registered Architect in NSW and VIC, with previous Registrations in TAS and WA that can be re-registered under current Australian Mutual Recognition.
Mark studied at Plymouth University (England) and obtained a First Class Honours Degree. He completed his studies with an Architectural Post Graduate Diploma in Humane Architecture including an exchange at Mississippi State University, USA.
Over the years, Mark has completed works in a wide range of architectural fields, from Residential Alterations and Additions, New Houses, Dual Occupancies, Multi-Residential Housing, Educational Facilities, Retail, Industrial, Healthcare, Sport and Recreation and Commercial. He was also a previous Examiner on the NSW Architects Registration Board.
Mark’s focus is to listen to his Client’s brief and translate this into a design that reflects their dreams, lifestyle and budget. Mark works closely with local specialist consultants to smoothly assist his clients gain their required Statutory Approvals and has forged relationships with numerous local building companies to simplify the Construction process.
